Lionheart Farms welcomed AmiCorp CEO Toine Knipping, along with two representatives from the AmiCorp Community Foundation, for a ceremonial coconut planting in the farming community of Punta Baja, Rizal, Palawan last Saturday, April 5 . Their visit highlighted a growing collaboration between two values-driven organizations focused on sustainability, inclusive development, and long-term impact.
During their visit, the AmiCorp delegation toured the farm, factory, and headquarters, where Mr. Knipping met with team members and gained deeper insight to the farm’s operations and community initiatives. Their experience provided a closer look at an integrated model that supports both environmental goals and economic empowerment in rural communities.
It's very nice how the whole project works, that it makes a difference for the community here, that it adds value in many different ways—economically but also socially—and also helps the community to develop further. That is what I like a lot,” said Knipping.
Knipping spoke about AmiCorp’s corporate social responsibility framework, which emphasizes the four Ps: Profit, People, Planet, and Purpose. He shared how these principles shape their internal culture and external projects, including vocational schools in rural South Africa and carbon offset programs that go beyond compliance to deliver meaningful change.
The conversation was centered around the idea that businesses should play an active role in supporting global sustainability goals. Knipping stressed the need to balance making a profit with being responsible and encouraged companies to use their skills to make a positive impact on society.
Many people have good intentions, but life often gets in the way. We try to take away all the excuses and make it a very simple thing to sign up and be part of it,” he added. “Our goal is to make it easier for our clients and employees to get involved in projects that have real impact. That’s where you can create a lot more awareness in the world,” he said.
Lionheart Farms continues to grow as a trusted source of healthy, traceable coconut nectar-based products for local and global markets. By welcoming leaders like Knipping, Lionheart reinforces its mission to deliver well-being at every level—economic, environmental, and social.
The ceremonial planting in Punta Baja symbolized more than just a gesture of goodwill. It marked the beginning of a deeper connection between organizations that share a vision of responsible business and a healthier future for all.
