Lionheart Farms CEO Christian Eyde Moeller welcomed into the boardroom students from the Narra Integrated School last July 9 as part of their learning experience that brings real-world business exposure and entrepreneurial mindset.
The Agripreneur Giant spent a few hours with the senior high school students for Go Negosyo’s new entrepreneurship initiative “The Boardroom Experience,” a part of its Youthpreneur program.
Go Negosyo launched Youthpreneur in partnership with the Department of Education to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among Filipino youth. And for the first time, the program reached Palawan in the pilot episode of Season 3.
Students Raise Questions on Leadership and Purpose
During the boardroom session, students asked Mr Moeller about his personal decisions behind building Lionheart Farms, including his move from Denmark to Palawan and the challenges that followed.
“When you find purpose, you stop seeing hardship as something to avoid. It becomes part of what drives you.” Moeller responded.
The exchange highlighted how purpose-driven leadership and real-world decisions intersect, leaving students with insights they could connect to their own future choices.
A Community-Centered Approach to Farming
Christian Moeller explained how Lionheart Farms integrates farming with community development by producing coconut-based products on-site and involving locals at every stage.
“We don’t look at it as helping. We look at it as engaging.” he said.
He also added that residents can work on the farm or join the partner farming program, gaining knowledge and stable income in return.
Moeller described the model as a modern form of bayanihan, built on shared effort and shared progress.
Expanding Access to Entrepreneurship
By launching The Boardroom Experience in Palawan, Go Negosyo and Lionheart Farms showed how business can drive both economic and social impact.
“This is about showing young people what values-based entrepreneurship looks like in practice,” Moeller said.
Lionheart Farms continues to invest in programs that build local capacity and support inclusive growth.
Go Negosyo aims to reach more underserved communities and equip students with tools to shape their own futures.
