Production Operator

• Responsible for maintaining complicated machinery. Work in a dedicated capacity specialising in single machine or class machine. (e.g., evaporators, pasteurizers, plate heat exchangers, pumps etc.)
•  Production operators may work outside or indoors. Report to the Supervisor for any machine and equipment operations.
• Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties.
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
• Maintain and clean tools before and after each shift.
•  Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures.
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation. 
• Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output. 
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times. 
•  Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors.     

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, 
• At least 5  years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Ability to analyze data and generate production reports.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
