Paralegal
Job Description
- Collaborate internally to develop policies promoting legal compliance and social responsibility
- Draft and review legal documents related to community interactions, ensuring accuracy
- Represent company interests in negotiations and dispute-resolution processes involving the community
- Work closely with Corporate Counsel and external advisors to address broader legal issues
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on community legal matters
- Serve as company representative, engaging with community members, landowners, and stakeholders on legal matters.
- Advocate for company interests, ensuring transparency, fairness, and legal compliance
- Foster positive relationship through effective communication and collaboration
- Ensure corporate activities align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate setting, with a focus on community
- Strong understanding of corporate law, land rights, environmental regulations, and community legal issues
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal research, document drafting and case management
- Ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks while balancing corporate objectives and community interests
- Willing to be assigned in Rizal, Palawan
