Production Worker
Job Description
- Supervise production and technical activity of production lines
- Monitor departmental performance metrics to ensure production requirements are met
- Provide the first level of support for any escalated issue during the work shift
- Coach and counsel employees on performance deficiencies and documents as required.
- Target production plan and output attained.
- Commitment to safety regarding the use of equipment
- To take full responsibility for the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the company's quality systems, processes and procedures
- Monitor, measure and report on production-related process performance and general issues.
- To have an active role in the company's continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
- All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used effectively to ensure best operating costs
- Maintaining a high level of timekeeping is of the essence
- Check and ensure the standard operating procedure
- Ensure production target plans are completed.
- Keep records and documents in correct data and traceable.
- Ensure machines and equipment are constantly monitored to prevent hamper operation.
- Observe key performance indicators (KPI) and develop improvement.
- Identify hazards to every process or area of production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management,
- At least 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Ability to analyze data and generate production reports.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
