Three products from Lionheart Farms were chosen for the SIAL Innovation Selection 2026: two sparkling coconut flower nectar drinks from The Power of SLOW, and one condiment from CÓCOES.
The selection came from the SIAL Innovation independent jury, a panel of outside food industry experts. Products first go through the Consumer Goods Committee, and only those that move forward reach the jury. These three did, and they went on to be part of SIAL Paris.
The three products
SLOW Spicy Apple. A carbonated coconut flower nectar drink made from single-origin organic coconut flower sap from our farm in Rizal, Palawan. It pairs the crisp sweetness of apple with real ginger extract and chili powder, and finishes bright with organic coconut flower vinegar. It carries a no-added-sugar claim on the can.
SLOW Hot Lychee. The second drink in the range, bringing lychee’s sweetness to the same sparkling coconut flower nectar base. Like Spicy Apple, it is made from single-origin organic coconut flower sap, which naturally contains minerals and amino acids.
CÓCOES Coconut Aminos Crema Balsamico. A glossy condiment made from just two ingredients: organic coconut flower sap and organic coconut flower vinegar. The sap’s natural sweetness and the vinegar’s tang are slowly reduced into a velvety crema that is sweet, sour, and savory at once. It works as a finishing drizzle, marinade, roast glaze, stir-fry base or dessert topping, and the label’s own recipe even suggests popcorn. It is soy-free and gluten-free.
One raw material, very different products
A sparkling drink and a balsamic-style condiment look like they have little in common. What connects them is where they start. Both begin with coconut flower sap, the nectar tapped from the coconut blossom before it ever becomes a nut. Lionheart doesn’t produce coconuts or coconut oil. We harvest the sap, and our products are built on it.
That is why we think the selection matters. Coconut flower sap is still a new idea to most food and beverage buyers, and an independent jury has now recognized it in two very different formats.
The farms behind the sap
Since 2015, Lionheart has planted more than 600,000 coconut palms in partnership with an Indigenous Peoples Community in Rizal, Southern Palawan. We also work with partner farmers who tap sap, linking them to training, technology, and global markets. Every can and bottle traces back to that work, and our products carry USDA and EU Organic certification.
We don’t claim to have it all figured out. We do believe farming communities belong in the global food conversation, and recognition like this helps open that door.
Thank you
Thank you to the SIAL Innovation jury and the Consumer Goods Committee for the selection. Thanks also to our farmers, tappers, processing teams, and partners who turned a coconut blossom into three products worth recognizing.
