Who we are

This Privacy Notice explains how Lionheart Farms (Philippines) Corporation ("Lionheart", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through lionheartfarms.com.ph and in our dealings with visitors, customers, suppliers and partners. We are the personal information controller. Our registered office is at Lionheart Building, Purok Pagkakaisa, Bgy. Punta Baja, Rizal, Palawan 5323, Philippines.

We process personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

Scope

This notice covers our website and the forms on it, our emails, trade fairs and events, and other contact you have with us. Separate notices apply to job applicants and business contacts. Our brand websites (CÓCOES, The Power of SLOW) and Gabay Kalinga Foundation have their own notices.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information through the website. Please do not send it in messages.

We rely on one or more of these grounds under the Data Privacy Act:

  • Consent, for the newsletter and analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Contract, to respond to quote requests and to fulfil orders with you or your company.
  • Legal obligation, for tax, food safety, customs and regulatory records.
  • Legitimate interests, to run and secure the website, manage business relationships and protect our legal rights, where these do not override your rights.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Our service providers, under contract and only to provide their service: Shopify (website hosting, forms, newsletter) and Google (Google Analytics, job application forms, email).
  • Logistics, customs and certification bodies, when needed to complete an order.
  • Government authorities, when the law requires it.
  • A buyer of our business, if Lionheart is sold or merged, under the same protections.

Where your information is kept

We keep and manage personal information in the Philippines. Our service providers Shopify and Google store some of it on their servers outside the Philippines. We stay accountable for it and use their contractual safeguards to give it a level of protection comparable to the Data Privacy Act.

After that we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to erasure or blocking, to rectification, to data portability, to damages, and to file a complaint. To use any of these rights, see the Privacy Center. We reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Security

We use organizational, physical and technical measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the NPC as the law requires.

Children

Our website is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Our website links to other sites, including our brand websites, social media and YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
